We have many members in the Grand Forks area who are dedicated to the sport of dogs. Interests as varied as agility, herding, tracking, conformation, obedience, therapy, and trial and event planning keep our club meetings and activities fun and interesting.

Membership in the Grand Forks Kennel Club is by application, elections, and payment of annual dues of $15 for single, and $20 for family membership. Associate membership is also an option.

You must attend a meeting to obtain an application and be sponsored by two club members in good standing that have known you for a minimum of three months. In order to keep their membership, club members must pay club dues on time by June 1st each year. In addition, members must either attend a minimum of four club meetings per year and volunteer at least five hours per year either teaching, cleaning and maintaining the building, or volunteering at events. Alternatively, members can attend no meetings but would be required to volunteer at least 10 hours. There are numerous opportunities to volunteer. Contact Jill Swingen at jswingen@gmail.com to log volunteer hours.

Meetings take place once a month. Locations can sometimes vary — so check the calendar HERE for meeting locations, dates or time, or submit an email to the club at info@gfdtc.org to learn about the next meeting opportunity.
